  1. robert F from Toronto, Canada writes: I can only imagine how picky these people must be, and give credit to someone in such an industry dealing with them. Great they've achieved great things financially, but I wouldn't want to deal with them for any price, it's "Diva Season" and you just don't want to be anywhere near them....

If they don't like purple, and you happen to be wearing purple...well it's over!

But that i guess is why it's so expensive, just to deal with them.
  2. German Shepard from toronto, Canada writes: To the dude looking for a "homey feeling" he/she is welcome to stay at my place, I will make them feel at home a few hundred bucks.
  3. France G from Ottawa, Canada writes: I've worked in the hotel industry for a few years, for Fairmont Hotels and Resorts actually, one of the leading hotel chains in the world....and I can tell you that many many people have lots and lots of money....for most of us, travelling is a rare commodity and when we do travel, we don't mind the average Best Western or Marriott because it's new and exciting to us...but for avid travellers, I can understand the need for a homey feel when they get away...especially on holidays...I myself prefer "lived in conditions" when I travel, that's why I am looking into doing a home exchange with another family next year.....and if I had the money, I'd certainly participate in Homesaway.....great, great concept!
  4. Mr Fijne from Fight Global Walarmism, Canada writes: Makes great sense to rent the best for a while even if it is expensive: it's still cheaper than buying property, paying taxes, enjoy no rest, maintain, cook, worrying about breakins etc... In the end, if we did not travel in style, many of you would be out of a job. So enjoy! And Robert F. at $37,000 a week, I guess someone has a darn right to be picky, like if yourself are not if served a cold burger with soft fries for $20 bucks!
  5. John Birmingham from calgoronto, Canada writes: I checked out the website. Surprisingly, the places are not that expensive upon closer inspection. You can get into many of their places for 100 bucks a night a person. Guess that makes me "ultra rich". The 37, ooo grand a week is a Castle near Edinburgh, about 300 a night per person, it sleeps up to 18 people. Other villas they have, say sleep 8 or 10, and it comes out to 100 to 200 a night per person. pretty good deal actually.
